The second Hotel supply chain operators and 2025 Hotel Sustainable Development Resource Conference was successfully held in Yangzhou city from 23rd-25th May,2025. Guided by the China Tourism Hotel Industry Association, the conference was jointly hosted by the Yangzhou Ecological Science and Technology New City Management Committee, the China Tourism Hotel Industry Association Procurement Supply Chain Branch and Shanghai Bohua International Exhibition Co.,Ltd.
Theme as “Seeking wisdom for survival, Sparing joint efforts for a carbon-free future”, the conference attracted nearly 300 guests including leader from various provincial associations, hotel groups,supply chain enterprises, industry experts and media representatives nationwide. Mr.Zhang Hongbin, the president of the Procurement Supply Chain Branch and Chairman of Shanghai Tonney Industrail Co.,Ltd, was invited to attend.
With the advancement of our country’s strategy of Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goals, the hotel Supply chain management shall trun it development from Linear consumption to resource closed-loop to speed up the construction of green and sustainable resource civilization. During the conference, the Yangzhou Ecological Science and Technology New City Management Committee and China Beauty Port release the Blue Book on the Development of China’s Hotel Procurement Supply Chain 2024-2025, the awarding of the editorial board units, as well as the opening of the hotel sustainable development innovation resource exhibition, the round table forum and other agenda items are all aimed to provide opportunities for industry professional to have an in-depth thinking and idea exchange, thus promoting technological innovation and ecological collaboration in the hotel supply chain and realizing the green and Eco-friendly transformation of the hotel industry.
At the “ Hotel Sustainable Development Innovative Resources Exhibition”, Tonney presented a series of new hotel guest room appliances made of low-carbon materials.
In the subsequent roundtable forum, Mr.Zhang Hongbin, hosted the deep discussion titled “Supply Chain Tier Transformation Driven by Consumer Experience”, jointly exploring the rise of the hotel Industry under the influence of new consumption value trends.
As Mr.Zhang Hongbin stated, in the new consumption era,consumer have started to participate in supply chain decision-making.Supply chain enterprises should actively seek customers experience feedback and proactively assist hotels in solving problems,support business growth to hotels through service model upgrades. Under the drive of AI technology and in the persistence of serving for good, we jointly build an ecosystem that ranges from standardization to personalization, from short-term transactions to long-term symbiosis, from functional satisfaction to emotion resource, thus realizing the coordinated development and value sharing among the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain.
